The Wentworth Wooden Jigsaw Company was founded in 1991 and they have been producing masterfully crafted jigsaw puzzles since in the heart of the English countryside.
All Wentworth jigsaws are produced from sustainably-sourced wood for guaranteed long-lasting quality.

Wentworth follows the Victorian puzzle-making tradition as their puzzles include hand drawn and beautifully cut ‘whimsy’ pieces: bespoke pieces that often reflect the theme of the puzzle itself.
Most Wentworth puzzles have irregular puzzle pieces and don’t have the same puzzle piece twice; they often don’t contain corner pieces and they also include straight-edged pieces in the middle of the puzzle.

The 40 piece micro puzzle is unique to Wentworth. It is the perfect size if you want to relax, put a puzzle together and see it through from start to finish, but do not have much more than half an hour to spare. You can have the satisfaction of completing a whole puzzle by the time your cup of tea is finished, or just before you go to bed (and it will not keep you awake till 3 a.m.!). They also make perfect stocking fillers. The extra difficult cut type 40 piece puzzles can easily take 45-60 minutes to solve!
Some can be much more challenging than you think, depending on the image.
This is a lovely size to do together with younger children, as 40 pieces are manageable for them to work with and the puzzle can be completed and enjoyed before they run out of patience.
The finished puzzle measures about 5 x 3 1/2 inches.

The 250 piece puzzle is Wentworth’s most popular size. It takes about 2-4 hours to complete, so you can still finish it in one sitting.

Advent Calendars are a cherished tradition in our family that we enjoy year after year as we count down the days till Christmas. December can be an especially busy time of the year for every family and it is important to find ways to slow down for a moment, spend time together, and enjoy this wonderful season that leads up to Christmas.
These special, puzzle-filled Advent Calendars provide a delightful surprise & festive challenge for you and your loved ones daily throughout the Advent Season, and they bring family and friends together.
How it works:
1) Choose an Advent Calendar from my selection.
2) Choose a Wentworth puzzle (1 x 250 piece puzzle, 4 x 40 piece puzzles or 1 x 500 piece puzzle) from my puzzle shop.
I will then carefully group the puzzle pieces in the little numbered drawers for each day (cca. 10-11 pieces for a 250 puzzle, 6-7 pieces for the 4 x 40 puzzles, 20-22 pieces for a 500 puzzle). The pieces in every drawer will connect with each other and with the part of the puzzle that is already put together on the previous days. The final image remains a mystery until Christmas Eve, but as the days go by the details in the picture reveal themselves piece by piece. I include a whimsy piece for most days for a fun surprise.
3) Please email me your order before November 1st if you want to make sure that I can fulfill your request, especially if you want to ship this to someone else as a gift.
4) Start the Advent Calendar Puzzle on December 1st and watch the joy it brings to your family and friends. Once a puzzle piece is on the table, everybody starts gathering around it - puzzles are people magnets!

This is a fun adventure for kids (over age 3) and grown ups alike! Even younger children can complete a bigger and more challenging puzzle. This way the puzzle pieces are pre-selected for them daily and all is kept neatly and safely together. The kids will be so happy and proud to see their finished puzzles!
The Advent Calendar Puzzle can be made more or less challenging depending on the age/skill level of the person, so please mention it in your order who it is for.
You can decide to conceal or reveal the image at the beginning as you will be given the original puzzle box as well. I think, personally, that a lot of the fun and challenge lie in not knowing what the picture hides, but watching it all develop gradually and have the pieces come together in the end - just like reading a good story.

Woodland Walk is a quintessential Diana Ferguson work. It is rich in color, unforced in form and layered with narrative meaning.
Diana Ferguson is an internationally recognized visual artist whose work illustrates her belief that the ordinary is a thing of beauty.
The nine illustrations in this puzzle are the work of 19th century artist Walter Crane, an English artist and book illustrator. They appeared in a short book entitled "A Floral Fantasy in an Old English Garden" (1899) and describes a stroll through a garden. Crane himself is depicted lying under a tree (upper right panel) prior to being led through through the garden by a fairy, where he encounters a series of human characters dressed as flowers and plants. These are arrayed in elaborate costumes of petals, tendrils and leaves, engaged in somber reflection and making visual puns about the plant’s common names. It is a delightful book translated into a wonderful puzzle, skillfully arranged and artfully presented by the folks at A&F PC.
The Artist: Gracing everything from the covers of albums and books, collectible wines and commercial crafts, theater stages and the silver screen, the work of Georgian artist Otar Imerlishvili is as multivalent as it is unique.
