I have a small collection of vintage Victory puzzles from England. I bought them especially with small children in mind. The puzzles are made out of thick plywood, so the pieces are sturdier and easier to handle for little hands. Some of the puzzles have large pieces that are suitable for children from 2 or 3 years on, some are a bit smaller and would work best for children over 4 years. Please see the number of pieces, the piece size, rental price and my recommendation for the age under each puzzle. The images are really charming and this is a great way to introduce children to the world of puzzles, as it is a much more tactile experience for them to handle the wooden pieces, in comparison to cardboard puzzles. Puzzles also help develop a variety of skills while playing.
The age recommendations of course are approximate as some children have the patience and dexterity at an earlier age to tackle the different size images.
